British Pound is the best performing currency in G10 as busy week of politics kicks off with UK Prime Minister, Theresa May telling delegates at the CBI's 2016 conference that the Government was working to avoid a "cliff's edge" Brexit transition.

Week Ahead | Draghi Under Pressure

The most anticipated event of the week would be the speech by ECB President, Mr. Mario Draghi on monday evening. Press and Investors will be looking at how Euro Zone will react in terms of Strong US Dollar Index posts last week, which led EUR/AED to slide to 3.89. 

Next focus would be the US FOMC minutes report that reviews the economic and financial condition of United States and determines the appropriate stance of monetary policy and assesses the risks to its long-run goals of price stability and sustainable economic growth.

Fed Up with Trump?

Yesterday Euro dropped to a fresh 1 year low after heavy positive pressure on USD . Aside from the Italian referendum, we also have the first round of primary elections in France this weekend and later in December, the Austrian Presidential election. Next year, both Denmark and France have general elections.

Today investors will be looking forward to what Janet Yellen’s has to say on December signal for a rate hike, Trump effect on USD, economic situation and new policy to enhance the US economy.

USD strength is here to stay?

Gross domestic product and Trade balance report from Europe was released yesterday and has shown a decent growth, this made the euro boost a little upward. Nevertheless following this report, US released retail sales, retails sales control group and retail sales ex-autos. all the reports showed a consistent growth which helped the USD to strengthen against all it's rival currencies.
