It will be a quiet few days to start off with and the heat picks up on the latter part of the week. ECB Lane’s Speech will be a major highlight for the week. US housing starts which is an indicator that tracks how many new single-family homes or buildings were constructed. Followed by Japan Trade Balance is a measure of balance amount between import and export. Therefore, any variation in the figures influences the domestic economy. The PBoC Interest Rate Decision is announced by the People´s Bank of China. From UK GBP Inflation report hearings is released which will be a key indicator on the future Interest Rate Decisions to be taken by Bank of England. Since 2004 the European Central Bank has published twice a year the Financial Stability Review which provides an overview of the possible sources of risk and vulnerability to financial stability in the euro area. Finally, to conclude the busy day US will release their FOMC Minutes by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve and are a clear guide to the future US interest rate policy. GBP Public Sector Net Borrowings which will be captured an amount of new debt held by the U.K. governments (the financial deficit in the UK national accounts). ECB Monetary Policy Meeting Accounts contain an overview of financial market, economic and monetary developments. The aim is to provide the rationale behind monetary policy decisions and enable members of the public to improve their understanding of the Governing Council’s assessment of the economy and its policy responses in the light of evolving conditions. Finally, it is US Initial Jobless claims which is a measure of the number of people filing first-time claims for state unemployment insurance. In other words, it provides a measure of strength in the labor market. The Gross Domestic Product released is a measure of the total value of all goods and services produced by Germany. The GDP is considered as a broad measure of the German economic activity and health. First time after the replacement of Mr. Mario Draghi as the President of European Central Bank Ms. Largarde’s Speech will be a major highlight for this week.
