In the morning, National Bureau of Statistics of China releases industrial production report and retail sales report which measures the total receipts of the retailed consumer goods. It reflects the total consumer goods that the various industries supply to the households and social groups through various channels. Following with the reports from China, Japan’s industrial production report will also be released. Later in the day Investors will be looking forward to ECB’s president Draghi’s speech for guidance on EUR after US dollar index posted highest weekly close since January after Trump’s victory. By Dawn Reserve Bank of Australia will release its meeting minutes for this quarter significantly indicating us the economic growth of Australia. Followed by reports from United Kingdom on Consumer Price Index which will be give us an indication of the purchasing power of UK along with its consumer confidence on the retail sector. Today some top tier data will be released from Europe and USA by Evening. Europe will release its Gross Domestic Products which measures of all total goods and services produced by the Euro Zone. Significantly a rising number on GDP will conclude the growing state of an Economic activity and Health and vice versa. To finish a busy day of top tier data US will release its Auto Sales and Retail Sales reports which indicates the Industrial and retail sales of Automotive and retail sector’s growth, Which measures the consumer spending trends. The day will be occupied by US reports. The industrial production report will be released for US first which focuses on the overall volumes of production of US industries such as factories followed by NAHB Housing Market index that analyzes the housing market by tracking the home sales and expected home building in the future. Finally the Capacity Utilization reports will be released which is the percentage of the US production capacity which can interpret the overall growth and demand of the country. The day will be a busy in terms of major data coming from UK and USA. By Early Dawn, RBNZ Financial stability report from New Zealand will be released. By midday, Retail sales report from UK will be released. This measures the total receipts of retail stores which is a major indicator of consumer spending in UK. In the evening ECB Monetary Policy Meeting Accounts report which contain an overview of financial market, economic and monetary developments. To close off the day USA will release reports on Building Permits & Housing starts which is an indicator on movements of the US housing market. The reports such as Consumer price index for several categories is a major indicator to measure inflation and changes in purchasing trends. ECB’s president Draghi’s speech will take place for the second time during the week where the president’s comments may determine positive or negative Euro trend in the short-term.
